As Vice President at Orennia, Matt leads the development of Orennia’s data and analytics for energy storage and the research it supports. His work forecasting ancillary services, nodal price dynamics and operator bidding behavior provides detailed asset valuations that are relied upon directly by clients to transact on multi-GW pipelines and obtain project financing. The diverse client base he works with allows for a differentiated perspective on the energy storage space shaped by regular engagement with investors, developers and equipment providers.
Jeff Taylor, VP Decarbonization
Jeff Taylor is the Vice President of Decarbonization at Orennia, leading the development of Orennia’s data analytics and research for decarbonization including RNG, hydrogen and CCUS. Before joining Orennia, Jeff played a key role in supporting the development of one of Western Canada’s largest CCUS hubs. His extensive background also includes successfully building renewable natural gas projects across Western Canada and developing midstream assets for a leading oil and gas midstream company.
